Eva Munarin artista ceramista designer

Artist, Ceramists, Designer

Born in Alassio, Liguria, Eva Munarin developed a passion for drawing and painting since her early childhood, especially committing herself to the delicate technique of watercolours. She later continued her studies delving into contemporary design and advertisement graphics, moving to Milan and then Genoa. In 2006, she graduated at the Pottery School of Montelupo Fiorentino (Florence) and eventually opened her first “atelier” on the Sienese hills, in the heart of Tuscany.
Her professional growth in the field of artistic ceramics led her to dedicate particular attention to the Majolica technique, for which she attended thematic courses in Deruta (Perugia) and Certaldo (Florence). Above all though, she kept developing her skills by working in some of the main Tuscan artisan workshops, where she learned the art and secrets of ancient ceramics.
Her curiosity about practical art, along with her education as a designer, allowed her to realise creations in which traditional pottery techniques coexisted with – and evolve into – shapes and colours that are definitively more modern.

She holds art classes and workshops in her Tuscan atelier, privileging the Majolica technique applied to contemporary styles. Her courses are aimed at both Italian and international enthusiasts.

Eva takes part in Exhibitions and Trade Shows dedicated to Art, Design, Pottery and Ceramic Art. Some of her works and sculptures are on display at different Art Galleries.
